How to Find Your Hat Size

Every hat maker measures their hats a little differently, which is why it’s important to check if the manufacturer provides a measurement chart. This chart ensures that when you order a hat from us, it will be the perfect size for your head.

Step One: Find the Widest Part of Your Head

Run your hand along the back of your head. You should feel a slight bump or increase in the back of your skull — this is the widest part where you’ll need to wrap the measuring tape.

Step Two: Measure Your Head

Place the measuring tape at the top of your brow and wrap it around the widest part of your head at the back, keeping the tape level and straight. The tape should be snug but not too tight. This measurement simulates the sweatband of the hat; if the tape feels too tight, the hat will likely be uncomfortable.

Step Three: Find Your Hat Size

Using the chart above, find the DNA hat company  hat size that corresponds to your measurement. If your measurement falls between two sizes, always choose the next size up. For example, if your head measures 22 1/2 inches, choose the 7 1/8 DNA hat company size.

Important Note:

DNA hat company hats may shrink slightly if exposed to temperatures over 100°F. To keep your hat in great shape, store it in a cool, dry environment.
